We gladly share that Dr. Andrea Pagnin has been appointed Member of MSIC’s International Advisory Board.

Dr. Andrea Pagnin is currently serving as the Head of Innovation & Development Office of IIT Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia

Lecturer in Digital Thinking Tools for Innovation, Università degli Studi di Genova, Dr. Pagnin is a Member of Steering Board of Green Hydrogen Tech Accelerator, an Open Innovation program aimed at scouting the most promising innovative startups and emerging companies throughout the hydrogen value chain.

Dr. Pagnin is a Member of Scientific Committee of the Ligurian Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development (EASS) Research and Innovation Cluster. The mission of the cluster, a meeting point between research and industry, is to stimulate, in agreement with the regional administration, the local innovation system and technology transfer processes in the thematic areas of environment, bioeconomy, energy, hydrogen and materials.

Member of Scientific Committee of the Digital Innovation Hub Liguria. Digital Innovation Hub Liguria is part of the DIH network of Confindustria created to support the processes of digital transformation and innovation of Italian companies, at European level it is part of the DIH network promoted by the European Union to orchestrate the Ecosystem of territorial innovation.

Member of Steering Board of Health & BioTech Accelerator, an international corporate scale-up program focused on scouting the most promising health and biotech startups/scaleups matching the corporate partners innovation needs.

Member of Strategic Board JOiiNT LAB. Jointly conceived by IIT - Italian Institute of Technology, Intellimech, Kilometro Rosso, Confindustria Bergamo and the University of Bergamo, envisages the creation of a joint laboratory at the Kilometro Rosso Innovation District, for the implementation of a centre of excellence in research and training in the field of robotics and industrial automation.

Member of the Working Group on Sustainability Model of RODIN - Robotics Digital Innovation Networks. The RODIN project is a pan-European network of networks aiming to bring together European Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) in robotics.

Project Manager and Innovation Coach (representing the Italian Institute of Technology) DIH-HERO (Digital Innovation Hubs in Healthcare Robotics) will establish a broad-based pan-European and cooperative network of Digital Innovation Hubs specialising in Healthcare Robotics.

The MSIC’s International Advisory Board charge is to support the Board of Directors in defining programmatic, strategic and innovative activities, so that they will yield increasingly competitive effects, aiming at the facilitation of the creation of informational institutional Italy-USA networks on topics and opportunities offered by respective markets, intercepting and sharing new and strategic business models, generating outgoing e incoming processes for the development of new enterprises on their respective territories, particularly those with high degree of technological innovation. Thus, the distinguished committee will act on promoting, redirecting and stimulating the development of technologically advanced industrial base, ultimately maximizing the value of the network.
