We gladly share that Mr. Giovanni Baroni has been appointed Member of MSIC’s International Advisory Board.

He earned the degree in Civil Engineering in 1998 at Parma University, with highest grades. Mr. Baroni is Founder and CEO of X3Energy S.p.a.

- X3Energy was founded in 2010, the company is active in the energy market operating on different business units: Energy Efficiency: the company provides energy efficiency services as consulting, EPC, design and supply of products (LED, PV, Thermal Solar, cogeneration, metering) mainly to B2B customers, in addition X3 develops and manage energy efficiency and renewable energy plants.
- CNG: the company builds and operates Compressed Natural Gas Stations for vehicles. The company owns 12CNG fuel stations in Italy and, through its US subsidiary X3CNG, 7 in Colorado. In 2017 X3CNG Colorado acquired the CNG stations belonged to the company Ward Alternative Energy LLC becoming the first operator in CNG sector in the State. X3CNG Colorado LLC is controlled by X3CNG Inc held 100% by the Italian Holding X3Energy S.p.A. Minor shareholder in X3CNG Colorado LLC is the fund based in Boulder CO Saoradh Enterpirse Partner.

Mr. Baroni as Group CEO is responsible of strategies, investments ad M&A activity, he manages the relationships with stakeholders as banks and shareholders of X3Energy S.p.A. or X3CNG Colorado LLC.  Mr. Baroni leads the operations through the managers responsible of each Business Unit.

He is also President of Piccola Industria of Confindustria (The General Confederation of Italian Industries)

From 2017 to 2021 he was Member of the National SME Board delegate for Energy and Circular economy and Member of the Confindustria General Board since 2017.

From 2017 to 2021 he was President of Piccola Industria of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna (the Association of Confindustria operating in the region of Emilia-Romagna).

From 2014 to 2017 he was President of Piccola Industria of Confindustria Parma (the Association of Confindustria operating in the area of Parma).

The MSIC’s International Advisory Board charge is to support the Board of Directors in defining programmatic, strategic and innovative activities, so that they will yield increasingly competitive effects, aiming at the facilitation of the creation of informational institutional Italy-USA networks on topics and opportunities offered by respective markets, intercepting and sharing new and strategic business models, generating outgoing e incoming processes for the development of new enterprises on their respective territories, particularly those with high degree of technological innovation. Thus, the distinguished committee will act on promoting, redirecting and stimulating the development of technologically advanced industrial base, ultimately maximizing the value of the network.
