Il 16 dicembre è la Giornata Nazionale dello Spazio. La scelta si deve alla volontà di valorizzare un settore – quello della ricerca e dell’industria aerospaziale – tra i vanti ancora non sufficientemente noti del Sistema Italia. La Giornata celebra il lancio del primo satellite italiano, il San Marco 1, avvenuto il 15 dicembre del 1964, grazie al quale l’Italia è stata il terzo paese al mondo, dopo Unione Sovietica e Stati Uniti, a superare l’atmosfera terrestre. Da allora l’Italia vanta numerosissimi primati nello spazio ed è diventata uno dei principali attori sulla scena internazionale.


Per far conoscere al pubblico internazionale i contributi che la scienza e la tecnologia italiane applicate allo spazio hanno portato al progresso dell’umanità, alla conoscenza dell’universo e alla tecnica del volo spaziale la Farnesina e la sua rete estera organizzeranno in occasione della Giornata Nazionale dello Spazio una serie di eventi ed una campagna informativa. In occasione della giornata verranno diffusi alcuni video realizzati dall’Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI), l’Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) e l’Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF) in collaborazione con il MAECI, raccolti in queste quattro sezioni: la prima dedicata a focus specifici su alcuni dei traguardi attuali dell'Italia nello spazio; le altre tre realizzate nell’ambito della campagna The Italian Innovation.

Campagna di promozione integrata della scienza e della tecnologia italiana nel mondo
“The Italian Innovation”


15 aprile 2021 - I nuovi video per la promozione integrata della scienza e della tecnologia italiana nel mondo sono stati realizzati con la collaborazione dell’Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI), il Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), l’Agenzia Nazionale per le Nuove Tecnologie l’Energia e lo Sviluppo Sostenibile (ENEA), l’Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF), l’Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) e l’Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS); sono disponibili in vari formati, in lingua inglese e con sottotitoli in altre lingue. I settori innovativi al centro di questa iniziativa sono stati scelti in accordo con gli enti di ricerca coinvolti: spazio, astrofisica, agroalimentare, ambiente ed economia circolare, tecnologie applicate alla medicina e ai beni culturali,  tecnologie marine.
